The 9462 series HART safety Analog Input Module for Zone 1 has six or eight channels for Ex i operating and supplying failsafe two-conductor HART transmitters with 0/4 to 20 mA signals in functionally safe circuits up to SIL 2. 

It functions as a PROFIsafe slave in the remote I/O system and supports bidirectional HART communication. 

All inputs are individually monitored to check for wire breakage/short-circuiting.
